Bo Chap.

You know, I'm fine with people cheating. It leaves a bad taste in my mouth but I've come to accept long ago that there's nothing much I can do. Just like today.

What irked me more today was that the person who took the oath of office in front of everybody didn't give a damn about the cheating. I guess it's probably easier to just stand aside and close both eyes.

Bah. I shan't bother. It's none of my business.

Random Thoughts.

Whitby walked into class and said this to me: “So Edwin, did you have a fight with a lawnmower over the weekend?”

What’s wrong with cutting hair short? I know he meant it as a joke, but honestly, I don’t understand why people are fascinated with guys that keep long hair a la those boy bands of yonder. It’s not exactly practical and pragmatic, is it?

Poo.

Anyway, Sakae Sushi isn’t coming to school anymore. Long story, but in short most of us don’t concur with the reasons given to us by the elected peeps.

Oh well.

Why So Serious?

The Dark Knight's good, but it doesn't make me want to go OMG-IT'S-SO-GOOD-I-WILL-WATCH-IT-TEN-TIMES.

I watched it at the Grand Cathay yesterday with the guys in my class. There were only 4 of us, because there are only 4 in the class. Anyway, as I said earlier, The Dark Knight isn't half bad.

But I feel that it would have done better without the introduction of Two-Face. There wasn't much screen time and character development dedicated to Dent's villian. I'd rather Joker and Batman had a mother-of-all-battles showdown.

Nevertheless, go watch the show. Watch Heath Ledger's performance. It's brilliant.

Why so serious?

This feels like 2006 all over again. New class, new subjects, new stuff and shit grades.

But god forbid I take the same amount of time as I took in Sec 3 to adjust.

Chiong Ah!

Here's something out of today's shoot:

Oh, and there was a couple having their wedding photos taken at the field today. It looked cool, and all the girls were like ooh-ing and aah-ing. Hahaha.

But why would anyone want to go to a school to have their wedding pictures taken? Is it because they met each other in school? Hmmm.

I don't have any photos of them though - I didn't feel paparazzo enough.

Damn tired. Seeya!

It Has To Be Rushed.

This is painfully true:

ISAC 08.

Life's pretty hectic, and yet there's really nothing of note to post. Sigh.

I went back to school after tuition today to cover a portion of the ISAC event. The photos aren't very nice - I guess I'm a bit too jaded. I had quite a good time talking to the instructor (who was a former professional photographer) and catching up with Shaam though. Shaam was my PAE OGL.

As usual, here are some photos:

This was the last station. I was confined to the corridor so the angles sucked.

All the safety stuff. I still remember how to abseil from my sec 2 ACE camp! Haha.

This was repeated over and over again.

Getting their equipment from below.

Nice guy - I told him to pose and he did.

He slipped, but he still smiled.

Happy.

Tired.

Fearful. She was screaming for like 5 mins and everyone was watching her. Haha. I didn't want to photograph at first, but I thought a series of flashes would encourage her to move down. Haha. I think I blasted 9 flashes continuously at her and she screamed even louder.

Dunno what.

I also found out that I had trouble releasing the shutter whenever someone slipped or fell. Somehow I couldn't bring myself to lift the camera to my eye and fire.

Rah. Too much compassion is bad for pictures. Makes you lose all the potential keepers.
